Any body else getting ready for Episode VII by exercising their subs with Episodes I - VI?

I started with I & II on Sunday, and am following up with one per evening, leading up to VII on opening day. It's a pretty big difference in graphics effects between III and IV.

You have different release date out there? Here the opening day is today. Not sure when I'm going to see it as we are going with bigger group and haven't decided the day yet.

I am. But I won't be seeing the new one for a few weeks. Want to let the crowds die down a bit.

I try to avoid opening day-weekend. Too many people. And not to sound cynical, but large groups of people are targets for crazy folks. I know it's not likely, but why risk it? It's not like I'm missing out on a once in a lifetime opportunity by going early. It's not like if I wait until week two there won't be any showtimes. I'm not that impatient. I'll minimize risk and frustration and shoot for a matinee showing if possible.

Just saw it... you guys are missing out.... I can believe when....not I will not give spoilers ;)

I wanted to see it so other people in my office or friends started to talk about it. Not to mention I saw Star Wars IV "A New Hope" like 20 times when it first came out

If you saw Stars a New Hope 20 times and just saw EP VII, well you have now seen SW a New Hope 21 times

I really like the new Star Wars movie, maybe my favorite one of the series. I have all of the others on DVD and have seen them several times. Peace and goodwill.

The movie itself is well made but there are way too many odd things in the plot. Would of been much better movie if it was written a little better.
