I don't give a damn about the prequels.

I've had the original trilogy ordered since way back when, even though I shouldn't have, since Lucas is a butt for not including the theatrical versions.

Yeah, the prequels really, really, really suck big time.

This is one example of where more is actually LESS.

The prequels really tainted my fond memories of the original experience; it made me lose any kind of respect for that Lucas guy.

I'll probably check it out the SW BD Sega on netflix rental.

Lucas you fool, most of us have 5.1/7.1 in our homes.

What gives with the 6.1? And what about DTS-HD master audio instead of DTS?

Being different just for the sake of being different is just stupid. Pushing surround tech with your first releases of Star Wars was brilliant and helped create better theater and home theater experiences for us all.

Now you're just being a pompus butt.

The problem with the sequels is they get worse everytime you see them... the dialogue gets more intolerable... the script, more convoluted and unbelievable... the acting, with few exceptions, more unnervingly bad.

Do you mean the original trilogy? If so, I'd disagree. The dialogue and script are corny of course, but awesome.

The prequels are the ones with intolerably bad acting and script/dialogue. Ridiculously cheesy (and not in a good way) or just flat out terrible.

Episode IV, V, AND VI theatrical versions with remastered video and DTS master audio on Blu-ray. With none of the behind the scenes garbage. (Really how many hours of sweaty people in giant puppets can you watch?)

I'd be first in line. In fact I'd go as far as to say I'd be "that guy" that would camp in a parking lot for this.

Lucas' planned release, I won't rent.

There is a guy with youtube videos that breaks down how bad the new Star Wars films are. It is absolutely hilarious and accurate. I will try and find the link because you have to see it.

Here they are. They are long but you have to watch these as you will laugh your asses off. Everything this guys says is absolutely correct about these crap films from Lucas. The other reviews are just as funny and true.

I really only want the original trilogy, but ordered the whole set because I am a completeist like that. No doubt the prequels will still look and sound great though, and I might even watch them to find out

The Plinkett reviews are beyond awesome. It's a major investment of time to get through all of them, but it's worth it. They're like an in-depth course on how not to make crappy movies, but also funny as hell.

I will pretend the 3 prequels never existed.

I will just get the original Ep 4, 5, & 6.
