Stand alone amp and power?

Well after much fantistic input from all of you I will try to get a three channel amp for my 2 towers and my center.. One question is I have no other outlet ner my HT sys, not to mention if I did it would most likley be on the same circut anyway. I do have a Monster Audio HTX- 3600, but that will just clean my power not stablize it. That being said will that degrade the extra amps proformance or the proformance of my TV or DVD player to the point where the amp is not helping much? Most web sites say MUST have seperate power outlet for amp etc..

Lastly What 3 channel amp would you all recemond? Seeing as I watch 99% movies seems foolish to amp the towers and not the center! correwct me if I am wrong and the 5.1 amp would draw that much more current so that scares me again since all is of same circut

The current draw on a very high powered amp (and if you're shopping for seperates, you're shopping for power) can suck all of the juice from a 15amp fuse. If you've ever run a blender and the hot-plate at the same time and everything in your kitchen died, you know what can happen.

You'll want to budget-in a qualified electrician adding a seperate outlet, on its own fuse, just for the amp. This could be a wise idea for some super-subwoofers, with their "2000watts peak" amp driving multiple 12-15" drivers.
