Anybody in here using Outlaw monoblocks have them stacked directly on top of each other? I heard you can but I always thought that was a big no no with amps/receivers in general.

Monoblocks

The Outlaw monoblocks are designed for this purpose. In general, however, it is not good to stack componentes directly on one another because it limits the air circulation. Hot components like a receiver or amp could effect other componets.

I asked Outlaw directly. Outlaw says you can stack them, but do not stack more than 4. I used to own 3 to power my front left, center, & right speakers.

I also asked them in their support center and this is their reply today.

Provided that they are (as a pair) well
ventilated, than you shouldn't have a problem stacking
them. Issues arise when overall ventilation is poor
and highly demanding speakers are played at
"excessive" volumes.

I have them on the bottom shelf of a flat panel stand that is open so even though I intend to crank M80s up excessively I think I will be ok :)
