I am wanting to connect my xbox to my AV receiver but have only 2 component inputs ( DVD,Cable) and the TV on the component output, I have no more cable available to move the TV from the component output. Can I overcome this or should I buy a new AV receiver with more inputs?

Why did you need to run your video through your receiver? Unless you want to upscale the signal just plug the video into your tv and your left and right or your digital optical cable in your receiver for sound.

Video thru AVR

I have an equipment closet that is not in the same room as the TV. I have coax to the tv from the Camera system, and component cable running from the closet to the tv. Hence the component out having the video, the two inputs are the DVR and the DVD. Is there any easy answer to this? or should I look for a new AVR?
