splitting two RCA sources into one output?

I have my TV's output which is like a headphone jack, and my computer's output which is also like a headphone jack.
If I purchase the two headphone female to Red White RCA and then I put a splitter on each red and white outputs to a single input that connects to my speaker system, which is also a head phone jack.... Will this work?

This is only temporary until i shell out for a high end audio to connect directly to my PS3, and use the current one for my computer. But since I only have one speaker system I would like to use both at the same time without having to swap wires around.

Any ideas??

Less than $25 and you can use a remote to switch between your two sources, and you can add more sources later (with video even) if you want to.
