Hey guys, glad i found this site, i've posted this question on other forums along with emailed DVDO twice with no luck on a answer.
I have a DVDO EDGE on preorder and i'm wondering what's the best way to distribute the signal to multiple televisions as well as AVR's?
This is what im working with;
4 1080p 52 inch LCD's
3 Denon 3808CI Avr's
What im hoping to do if this will work, is plug all my sources via HDMI into the EDGE, then from there split the signal out to the 4 different displays. Now should i use both outputs on the EDGE (HDMI Video split into 4 HDMI outputs and plugged directly into LCD's aswell as split the second output (audio only) and run to the 3 Receivers. OR should i just run one HDMI cable to the 3 receivers and from the receivers to there designated LCD.
Option 2 is definately cheaper, only need one hdmi splitter and 3 fewer HDMI cables (some are going to be long aswell), but im looking to get the best functionality outta my gear.
My basement is near completion and i need to run the cables ASAP, so your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
