SPL meter recommendations

Hello.... just wondering if anyone has recommendations for spl meters for normal home theater calibration.

Ebay has a few new ones for less than 100.. are they any good?

Don't worry too much. Anything you buy for $100 or even several times that price will be pretty hopeless measuring absolute SPLs. However, if your application is setting up 5.1 speakers in your living room, you just need to measure relative SPL between them. Even the lowest cost SPL meters can handle that fairly well.
