Spiderman2 review

According to the review, both audio and video is stellar and the story is so so. Being a marvel junkie, this one is going on my shelf.

Not to put a damper on this thread, but I disliked the first one. I will only watch the 2nd one on Netflix. I like the 2 leads, but I don't think they did a good job on the script. Tobey Mcguire ones I liked and own on BD/DVD.

Liked the 2nd Spider-man movie much better than the first movie. But I still dislike the ending to Spider-man 2. I just hate all sad endings. Probably because I'm such a happy guy. I want every ending of every movie to be happy.

I haven't seen the movie, but the Spiderman comic is not really a happy story so it sounds like they did a better job capturing him. I only wish they did some crossovers with daredevil and the Fantastic Four.

I liked this one much better than the first. Better flow, more action and I didn't have a problem staying awake with this one

I love spiderman ANYTHING, I have spiderman boxer shorts that I am allergic to and I still wear them {thats a joke, I am not allergic to them , they are actually really comfy}...
I liked amazing 1 and 2, I know people say "it doesn't follow story lines from the comics, blah blah blah.. " But I don't care, I already read the comics, give me something new....

I think this is a must watch for any superhero action junkie, you will be happy with the exception of afterlife, lol {I don't want to spoil the story but the people that have seen it will know what I am talking about, lol}...

I have watched this a few times already, and may watch it again today now that we talked about it, I may watch 1 and then 2 back to back...

I use a spiderman wallet, I have had it for a while, and its funny to see peoples faces when I pull it out, lol.. I originally liked Toby's version better, but he was a little too much of a downer. This version captures more of his sarcastic sense of humor at attitude of the comics. While it did take a lot of liberties, it did stay true to the source material somewhat with the ending, which I respected and thought was done well.

So the tragic ending of Amazing Spiderman 2 is true to the comics?

I really liked A-Spiderman-2 up until the sad ending. That ruined it for me.

At least the 3 Toby Spiderman movies always had happy endings. I like it when the story is "always about a girl".

I like the explanation of why the Spider that bit Peter Parker was really special and specific only to his DNA. So even if the Spider had bitten other people, they would not become Spiderman. Only Peter and his off-springs could be web-crawlers.

The end result is the same as what takes place in the comics of the early 70s. The story behind how it happened was different vs the comics. Mary Jane and Gwen were friends in the comics and they actually had written her into the original movie script, but decided against it.

It was a problem caused by the fact that the writers at the time didn't know what to do with the character except marriage, and didn't want to go that far with Spiderman.

I can see why some might not have liked this one. I personally like it, but they sort of had a similar problem to the former Spiderman 3. They tried to put too many elements into it and convoluted the story. Not as focused as the first one and while levity is OK, they infused a bit too much in this one IMO Will likely add the 3D version to my collection.

Oh, I see. So Mary Jane Watson hooked up with Peter Parker after the incident in the comic books. Now I have something to look forward - who will play Mary Jane.

The person they originally cast for MJ was the girl from the Divergent movie, but I am pretty sure it will be recast.

Watched it the other day in 3D and found the 3D effects to be very good, but it had a lot of aliasing throughout the whole film. I also noticed at the end that the audio was mastered in Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D.

I watched it this past Saturday and I enjoyed it although I'm getting tired of the OSCORP inhereting kid always showing up AGAIN and AGAIN.. Nice action, really nice video and awesome soundtrack. I'm glad I purchased it.

I never paid attention. But I always thought that the costume fabric was thin enough for his hands and feet to stick to walls.
