spider to basket adhesive - JBL's

I have owned a pair of JBL Jubals since approx 1974. Both woofers (126 A ) have been reconed one or two times. Recently I noted the absence of bass from one of the speakers and pulled it out of the cabinet. The spider has come loose from the basket but the foam and cone look good. My question is two part:
1) can I just reglue this and what type of adhesive will work best?
2) if I need to send them out again who in the field is recommended to do the repair? I'd like them to hold up for somewhat longer than the last repair which lasted only a few years. I don't abuse them but they are driven hard at times with a reasonably low distortion HK amplifier

thanks in advance for any input to my first post on this forum

If you don't get a good response here (I don't personally know the answer to your question), try here http://www.audioheritage.org/

Someone there will DEFINITELY know the answer! (it's the best vintage JBL enthusiast website)

spkr repair

you can difinitely repair them if all materials are intact. there is special speaker glue which can be found in any pro audio hardware store or any P.A. company. (sorry can't give you the name but it is a common item) I have a pair of JBL century 100's, the first studio monitor converted for home use. they are 32 years old, have been reconed and remagnetized and they sound better today (less harsh) than ever. you can't beat pro but, they are never the best bang for the buck.
