Not sure what you are getting it for, but I would go with one of the previous poster's recommendations in that you can get a similar sounding receiver/speakers combo for about $350 or so and that'll offer you more, overall, for your money.
Now, I'm not sure how much you are spending, but basically it is a set of computer speakers with everything connecting to the subwoofer. Simple, but not very effective if you want to add more, or take advantage of the speakers for things like Blu-ray disc, or a one-cable HDMI solution.
I would look more at something like this:

It allows your X-Box, cable box, and Blu-ray player all conenct via HDMI to the receiver, then plays back HD audio and passes video onto the display with one HDMI cable. Simple, works well, and priced right.
Plus, as budget allows, you can upgrade to better speakers.
Granted, if you can get it for $100, then it may make a lot of sense, but it is still a glorified set of PC speakers, which will limit your potential growth and usage.
