Just got my stimulus and then some. I’m guessing they will want it back.

Well knowing the IRS, they won't forget. IT might hit you on your taxes one year, or a little letter asking for a check. And it might take a a year for them to catch it. LOL enjoy, but ya might be paying it back.

I have 19 year old twins and I haven’t filed my 2020 taxes yet so I was paid for them as well. I’m thinking they will catch it and bill me for it on next years taxes.

Check to see if your 2020 income and qualifications are within the thresholds for the new stimulus.

I guess I get to keep it all, it’s calculated based on your 2019 taxes

I won't be getting any, neither will my wife... Not that I'm complaining overall. But I would take what I could get.

Seriously, I have no life.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you can keep it. Are the twins eligible now, not in 2019? If so, great.

Oh boy. I'm looking at Monolith subwoofers... I'm thinking about getting a single M-215 and selling the HSUs. The reason I'm thinking about the M-215 is because the left corner in the front of my room is by far the best spot to put a sub. The one on the right measures like crap by itself no matter how I try to eq it. I've thought about stacking them both on the left side. The 215 might work really well there.

Then set my sights on a second one in the future...

Not sure what you're using them for most but if it's for 2ch you should have 2 if it's for home theatre you should have 2. Okay you should just have 2.

I'm exploring other possibilities now. The BOSS bass system looks like it might be pretty cool, less expensive and within my wheelhouse to build.

Not quite. The drivers shake a floating platform that the couch is on.
Haw? They shake the platform? I thought open baffle meant they were just moving like regular drivers under your seat. Aren't they just mounted on a board, downfiring, with the magnets oriented up and sit on those rubber isolation feet? I didn't think the whole platform moved, but I didn't dig very deep yet either...

Lots of bracing and pray glue a thick neoprene mat to the top then carpet over it, tons of Corning R22 inside. I think you’d be just fine.

Yes. You build a riser that’s got isolators for feetgand in some cases like hovorboss, bicycle inner-tubes to isolate further and offer more float, and more power handling capabilities. It’s awesome.) The drivers in the riser move according to frequency, usually from 30hz and below, but some run as high as 80 and as low as 20 just to get the TR which some rooms/subs don’t allow. Minidsp makes it easy to custom curve.
So the riser is what shakes the couch. Ime due to being actual drivers(not actuators) and the fact that the whole platform moves its much more natural than BK’s or crowsons or any of those tactile devices. The violence can be Fukkin insane. Oh, and there’s no SPL. So cancellations aren’t really a thing. If you’re serious about TR, it’s worth a look.
