$350 for 5.1? I would look at the athena point 5 and a dayton sub.

Up your budget a bit, and get a BIC Venturi DV62 CLRS center, and 4 DV62si bookshelves for $350 from Amazon.com. Save a couple months, and pick up a Dayton 12" sub for under $140. There is no better system for the price.

I picked up some Polk R30's from Outpost for $100 shipped/pair, a CSi25 center channel new in box from eBay for $100 shipped, and I'm waiting for the R15's to go on sale again ($40/pair, or $70/pair if you want to get them new on eBay). Add the Dayton 12" sub for $150 and you have an entirely decent setup for under $400 if you're willing to wait around for them to go on sale again.

Just one more option.

I agree with jonnythan,

Fry's (outpost.com) has a sale on the polks all the time. Some weeks it's the r30 towers ($90 pair), the next week will be the r15 bookshelves ($40 pair), and occasionally the csi25 center ($69). That combo with the dayton would be very hard to beat for the money. I've heard the r30's and the r15's, and they sound good. At these prices, they are a steal.

The BIC's that Buckeyefan suggested is also a great value, but puts you out of your budget. Stretch your budget a little more , and this would be a great way to go.
