i think we are just going to go in circles here. I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds beauty in the Bose wave system. Like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, amazing sound is in the ears of the beholder

Second , you need to get out more, it appears you have not had very much exposure to audio speakers and other audio equipment.

A person that ony has a hammer in their tool kit seems to think every problem is a nail.

If you have only heard a Bose Wave radio, then yes it is the best sound But then again when the universe consists of only one element it has no equal; it is the worst, the best The same would be true if you took out one of the 1 1/2" early PC speakers and showed it to Samuel Morse or Alexander Graham Bell; they would be astound at the quality of sound.

IMO, the best sounding speakers my ears have ever heard was the Bose Wave Radio!
I have Boston Acoustics speakers, and it's either I think the highs are too SCREECHING high or the bass are too "hard" like Paquiao's punches that recently listening to music raises my pulse rate instead of relaxing me Basically I'm looking for warm rich sound with water-like bass like the Bose Wave system that would put me in a heavenly musical experience. Anyone want to suggest similar speakers?? I already have a high-quality receiver, disc player and subwoofer. I want to simulate a sound like the Bose wave emits withOUT having to spend 1,000$$$! the price of the Bose Wave System is way too ridiculous!

I prefer Dwarves not Trolls, but you do bring back good memories of EQ.

FYI I think a sony system might suit your tastes. Or is that too good for trolls.

Humans have better hearing so they prefer more FR form their speakers. I wouldn't trust em.

To the person who gave me a red chicklet for calling the Bose radio "fecal matter," get a clue. I wasn't calling it awful - I was making the point that just because someone likes something doesn't mean it's good.

thanks for those who actually tried to help! I will probably go ahead and try one of those Bose cube speakers and see if it would change the sound of my system

p.s. I HAVE had several boom boxes in the past, and also stereo systems but nothing sounded like the Bose Wave System, IMO
