Speakers with Onkyo TX-SR601

Hi All

I am planning to buy the Onkyo TX-SR601 receiver, but not able to decide which speakers go best with this receiver.
One option I have is to go with Onkyo SKS-HT520, but they are very massive.
Please help me out by recommending few 6.1 speaker options.
Can I use a 5.1 speaker setup with this receiver?

The speakers that go best are the ones you think are best after listening to them. If you want the best speaker for your ears and money go out and listen to some. You should also listen to speakers that are too large and too expensive for your space and budget. That way you will be aware of how good (or bad) they can get. After you have several prospects there are many people here who would be happy to discuss a final choice with you. Just don't waste your time on those things that come from the "mountain". If you buy speakers without hearing them you have no one to blame but yourself if you're not satisfied.
