What are the most exotic speakers you've seen?

I like Nearfield Acoustic's Pipedreams. They have the Hsu/SVS cylinder type subs, and the MacIntosh look-a-like supertowers. Imagine the amp to drive those!

The Advantgarde horn speakers made in Germany cost more than a house in California’s hot real estate market.

I would not own them, even if I won the lottery, because they are so far removed from a traditional speaker design that they look ugly to me. But for the same reason, I’m sure others will think they are stylish. Could go either way, depending on your personal taste.

I'll never own these. Not cause their too expensive, but because they're the biggest scam I've ever seen.

I saw them on EBAY the other day. I almost sprayed beer out my nose. A pair of car audio 6x9's put into a CONCRETE cabinet and finished off with some exotic veneer for $2,175. don't forget to browse around the site and check out the other cheesy gear they're selling for inflated prices.

26-30000Hz +/-2dB (driver spec). Yeah, driver alone, anechoic. Rich.

Hear of them. Never heard them. They are sitting next to some high end equipment, though, so I can't imagine they are "white van" style speakers. Who knows though. They are huge.
