Speakers in my new Home Theater (help!)

Hi everyone. I recently spent about $6,000 for the installation of components in a Home Theater I'm completing in my home. The room is 21' by 13' and I have a 105" wall-mounted screen and a Mitsubishi HC6800 projector. So this is not high-end. But I'm concerned that the guy who did the installation may have installed really lousy speakers for the 5.1 surround sound. The speakers he used were Pioneer S-IW631-LR for the two in the front wall (on either side of the screen) and Pioneer S-IC621D for the three in the ceiling. I'm not looking for professional sound, but these don't sound very good and what I see on line indicates that they are pretty low-end.

Are these (relatively speaking) lousy speakers, and would I notice a significant difference if I upgraded, spending a total of say $1,500 to $2,000? The bass is coming from a JAMO SUB300 and sounds pretty good.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks Jim...appreciate the info. If anyone else has thoughts on the issue of using ceiling speakers (my current set-up has one about four feet from the front wall and two about four feet from the back wall), I'd be very interested.
