Speakers for room with a bar.

Here's the deal. I have a room with a bar on one end and a projector screen across the room.

Currently I have Paradigm 7se Mk3 speakers (due for an upgrade) on each side of the 110" screen. These are great when sitting on the couch in front of the screen but we find that when people are over most of the time is at the bar. The only use the projector gets now is for the Wii.

I listen to music 100% of the time. What are my options to get better sound when at the bar ?
My first thought was to get on wall speakers to raise the height easily.

The goal is to have better sound at the bar, as it is now the speakers are playing directly into a couch. I initially wanted a pair of Paradigm Studio 100's but I fear that I will run into the same issue of not really taking full advantage of the speakers.

I would say bookshelfs, do you have a picture of the space?

Depending how it is set up why not leave the paradigms alone and set up a completely separate little bar system, something simple like...

a pair of these for $120 SuperZero 2.0 | Bookshelf Speakers | Premium Audio Equipment

a receiver DENON DRA-697CI AM/FM Multi-Source/Zone Stereo AV Receiver | Accessories4less

a subwoofer https://www.svsound.com/subwoofers/sealed-box/sb-1000#.Un0ycfmURD0
you would be around $900 and it would be impressive

If you want to spend more go for a pair of ascend acoustic Sierra 1's {or 2's} and a svs sb12 sub and add a dac to the receiver... I'm not sure what you use for sources...

I don't like in wall, on wall, in ceiling, ect speakers, I have yet to find a set that were "impressive" if you go with something above, you can get a system that will impress your guests..

Another great option is csb'1s which are on sale for more than 50% off for $400 a set, I have a set with a pair of sb12's that I love for music..

Considering the 100 v5's are around $3500 a pair Im sure the budgets aren't an issue...

I would personally probably go with the psb synchrony 1 B's with either a uls15 or a pair of sb12's and you will never look into another tower, that is for sure...

What about a tall line array speaker to distribute music throughout the room more evenly??
