Speakers for HT

Hello

Here is a matrix of three speaker manufacturers that I shortlisted for my proposed HT.

Yamaha JBL B&W
Centre NS-C225 EC 35 LCR 600 S3
Surround NS-M225P E 50 DM 603 S3
Sub YST-C225 E 150P ASW 600


I listen to music 75% and watch movies 25%. I get a feeling that I am comparing apples to oranges.

I require help to make a decision. Thank you for your time.

Seeing how you already have B&W up front, I would say keep it in the family and go with a full setup of 600 series speakers, at least for the center and surrounds. I assume that you like the sound of your B&Ws.

Stay away from the E-150, you will not be pleased with its performance.
I have auditioned it, and it does suck quite a bit.
However I am a happy owner of a E-250 (no comparison to the 150)

I would go B&W aswell.I have the 603s3's w/lcr600 and hoping to get the 601's soon for surrounds(using def.tech. now).I have them powered w/rotel rsx1056 and love them for HT as well as music.
