Speakers for a friend

Opinion on Energy Take 5.2

I've been tasked to recommend some entry-level speakers for a friend. I am leaning toward the Energy Take 5.2

with an 8" Sub.

I can get these for just under $600. Does this seem like a reasonable deal in that price range? Any other suggestions for this price range?
