What do you think in regards to a Onkyo 905 AV Receiver? And what do you
think of running Polk Rt2000p towers and Polk di bi's and Polk center and an SVS
PB+2 with roughly a 1000 watt Bash Amp? Currently and surprisingly enough I've
been running a Panasonic SA HE 200 with the above for the past couple of years. I am due for some upgrading and entertaining with going with the Onkyo 905 AV receiver. I also sometimes think NAD would be the way to go but they seem to be a few steps behind on extra bells and whistles. I am big on sound quality and low low distortion with lots of power to boost. We also watch lots of movies etc...
Note: Does anyone know of Panasonic releasing a AV system that will be superior to the SA HE 200 they came out with a few years ago? Looks like they may have dropped it. Don't know why; it was excellent and low cost, believe it or not some audiophiles might we surprised how well it may do A B'ing it with their system ten times the cost.

id say that its not their niche and many problems have been reported with the unit. If yours works and has ample power, without distortion, then upgrading speakers make more sense, unless you need the latest av bells and whistles. For the most part the sound should be the same on any comparable amp. And to note if i pay 10k for any amp, ill pay 30k for speakers.
