Speaker stands or di-poles?

I was just wondering if I should buy speaker stands for my paradigm titans as surrounds or save up money and buy the adp370 and attach them to the wall? I have the monitor 7's and cc370 as my fronts and center! Thanks for any input. Derek

Also, what about the adp170's? Would they be a better alternative to the titans?

With di-poles, some really like them and some hate them. Me personally I love di-poles. By far the best piece in my system, Mon.7's, cc370, adp370's and a pw2200. Alot of people will ask you, what is your preference, ht or muti channel music. If it is multi channel music some mini monitors on stands will give you the best results although for me my di-poles playing multi channel music is very good (to my ears). Now if ht is king in your house and you want to get very good spacial surround effects with depth just like at the movie theater save up and get those adp 370's.

Thanks Cam,
Looks like I will head to the local paradigm shop soon and listen to see whether I prefer the dipoles or direct radiating. I listen to alot of movies and alot of 5 channel dvd music, but NO dvda or sacd.

I second what Cam said. I have the same set up as him (except the sub) and during movies, dipoles really can't be beat to my ears, you might differ. People will tell you if your ht chairs/sofa is up against a wall that dipoles are bad and you won't get their full effect. I have a 7.1 set up ADP370's x 2 and my sofa is up against the back wall with the speakers above ear level and they are a big improvement over my older direct firing surrounds. But then again that's just me.

I had direct firing speakers on stands for a while. I took them back for dipoles and the difference is incredible. I love my dipoles!!!
