I got ride of the Yamaha NX centre and surrounds. I will be picking up the Paradigm Studios later this week. A complete change over. I cannot wait to play. :D

PS: I am keeping the HX towers for now.

Pair of 100's. One CC-570. 2 pair of ADP-470's. And just as I was walking out the door he set a bug in my ear....SERVO-15. Ouch!!!! That one will have to wait.

Hey thanks. After the sub all I have left to do is move into a house with a bigger room. Too much speaker for my current residence.

I have a similar problem. :)

Congratulations!

The Servo 15 is a great sub but before you spend that kinda $$ on it do yourself a service and consider SVS. For the money you'll pay for that Servo you can get a KILLER SVS sub that in my opinion would trounce it, or at the very least do just as well for less money. (Value might of course be somewhat negated by the fact that you're in Canada where shipping on SVS may be high and of course Paradigm is Canadian...)

Might be Hsu dealers in Canada perhaps? Hsu makes outstanding subs at great prices as well. For me though, having experienced the joys of an SVS PB12 Ultra/2, well, it changes things a bit.

Meet the family

Got the paradigms today. I figures before I put them in their final resting place I would take a family photograph. Not everyone was in attendance. But you get the idea.

WOW factor high.

I watched Chronicles of Riddick. The studios sound and look great. And they are bloddy heavy. I am still working on some shelves to hold the ADPs. I just cannot trust using the supplied brackets in drywall. Once I get all 7 speakers in place I plan on doing some serious listening.

WOW! How to the Yamaha speakers comare to the Studios and Klipsch's?

Nice setup. A Servo-15, HGS-X 15, or SVS would compliment that system nicely.

I am planning (sometime at the end of October) to do a comparison between the 3 towers. Nothing fancy. Just listening to CD's most probably. I already know that the Klipsch are more bassy than the Yamahas. But they sound very similar.

Thanks. I think a Servo-15 is in. I should be able to find the velodyne locally. I prefer to NOT buy online (ie: mail order), so SVS is out. And I think HSU is also internet order only. I like to walk into a store to buy my stuff (the old fashion way). And I am not sure if a HSU model comes close to the Servo-15 and HGS-x 15.

WoW!! Nice "little" purchase you made there, congrats!
Thanks. I really like them. But I really should play with them some more to make 100% sure of that. :p
