Speaker Selection Switch are they fixable?

Hello everyone my first post. I am just beginning the journey on self teaching myself audio electronics. I have some background knowledge in DC/AC theory...some other skills but as a hobbyist.

My Pioneer A-676 amp endured some postal damage where the Phono switch was pushed into the amp...I am not worried about that right now...my concern is the Speaker Selector Switch

part#:
ASD1004 (S401) for (SD type Pioneer A-676)

What happens is A works fine, B does not unless I move the switch slightly towards the A+B position but where it does not click in place. If I put the switch to the B position there is no sound and I only had one set of speakers to test the A side and B separately. I am not sure if A+B will work independently from the B position, thus, since these look mechanical in nature...can one fix them?

I think in transit, something pushed on it and may have bent something? The Phono switch seems to click fine but it is loose...I am not sure how to fix that unless there is a part that will screw in place...the only other thing is to glue it in place as a temp solution as I do not use Phono just the CD.

What an excellent amp - I like to use two sets of speakers, thus, why I wish to fix the switch.

I emailed Pioneer to see if the part does not have to be the exact one and if there are switches that will work in its place.

So, the switch has: Off/A/B/A+B - the relay clicks on all settings except B (and of course Off).

Any suggestions to finding or fixing would be greatly appreciated! One small question about those 'copper screws' that hold down the cover and chassis - where can one buy a bunch?

Take care everyone - thanks again!

PS - My photos were too large to upload sorry!

File a claim with the shipper. Actually, that's usually the responsibility of the person who shipped it and it may be found that the packing was inadequate.

Best bet- find another amp because you aren't likely to find that part.

Also it probably has a broken circuit board, as those switches are usually directly soldered onto the main circuit board.

I would expect a lot of problems with that unit down the road.

I fixed it today it was mechanical in nature and I just tweaked it a bit and the B slides in fine and the circuit board looks fine as I used a light a magnifier. Whew!

Finding those copper screws (I wanted some extra) are tough to find - not a major deal they just look nice against the black!
