Speaker/Receiver Pairing Question

I've just bought a pair of Monitor Audio Silver S8s (I just loved the sound) and am soliciting advice on what receiver to pair them with. My price range is about $1500.00. Any ideas?

Are they going into a surround/HT system, or just a plain ol' stereo system? If just stereo, will it ever become part of a surround system?

If for HT, then I would suggest the pioneer elite 56tx, it is awesome and matches well with MA.

I second the Pioneer elite vsx56-txi. Man i am already so jealous -- got the monitor audios and the cash for the 56. You'll love it!
