Hi I am a noob at speakers however I have a fair knowledge od electronics and I am trying to rebuild a single pioneer 6x9 speaker for my truck. When I bought the pair used on one of them the wires leading into the center were missing so I carefully started removing the adhesive from the wire ports on the paper and found that I am gonna need to fully rebuild this thing and so I would truly appreciate it if someone could give me some idea of how to achieve this as I know absoultly nothing about what I need to do. thanxx

Buy a new one

I would save time and frustration and just buy a new pair

Unfortunately, I second JohnA's advice.

Rebuilding a speaker cone or surround CAN be done, but broken 6x9's are throw-aways due to the cost.

If you're dead set on rebuilding this thing, I've seen aftermarket speaker rebuild kits with new cones and surrounds, but you're going to change the response of the speaker and end up mis-matched.
