Speaker Placement Recommendations - Dolby vs THX

I'm trying to figure out where to put my rear channels for 7.1 and I'm noticing that Dolby and THX have different opinions on where the speakers should be placed.

THX prefers the speakers to be placed together, while Dolby recommends that the speakers be placed apart.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Nevermind - I should learn to read the whole page before posting. THX suggests the same speaker placement as Dolby for THX MA.

Yeah, I wish I had installed my own rears even further apart than where they are at now. I still might get to moving them apart in the future, but for now I can't be bothered. I think they are maybe 5-6 ft apart, and I wouldn't mind trying another foot or so for each speaker, to be closer to 135 deg.
