I was thinking of placing my Athena b1's about 10 feet from the floor, and then since the back wall of the room is about 20 feet from the back of the couch i was going to place the rears 10 feet high but about 4 ft back from the surrounds. WOuld I be smarter to just go with speaker stands or would mounting this high on the walls create the same effect? Since my the rears will be high and not directly behind the sitting position would they even be effective?
