Hi. My HKTS 11's are here, and im now more confused than ever. I had thought out the plan for wall mounting these, but now, im not so sure. Here are some pictures of my room, and where i (currently) plan to mount the speakers:

(Black "rectangles" are the speakers. stop laughing, it took me 15 mins )

My question(s) are:

1. Is the center speaker too far above the tv?
2. Will the bookcase muffle the sound of the right surround speaker?
3. Is this overall a decent/good setup?

Thanks :D

This setups does not look good to me. The speakers are too high.

The center could be below the TV, in the rack.
The two fronts are too high, can't you put them on stands? The left would be right where the sub is. they should be at ear height.
If the left surround can only be at that position, put the other at the same height.

Agreed go with stand mounted bookshelf speakers for the front 3. NEVER place the front 3 speakers too far above ear level if you can avoid it.

I would think the rt surround is a bit close to that case. I would move it to the other side of that door, I guess to the right upper corner looking at the picture.

I wouldn't recommend using that photo host. It may seem strange to you, but it's more important that you blotted out your family pictures for using that host rather than posting them here.;)

ok, ive ordered the stands :D

dont the surrounds have to be at the same elevation and distance from tv? or will the calibration take care of that?

From the looks of things you don't have much of a choice to match the other side to the one over the door when you move it back a bit.
When you do the calibration, the setup will take care of the extra distance, if there is any. I would think that the move would help more than hinder anything.

Are the surrounds not at the same height in your drawing? How much of a difference in height are there?
By pushing the right back a little, to the right side of the door the height of that speaker stays the same. That is perhaps a 2ft move towards the rear?
