100hz digital) along a 13 ft wall. Due to a door opening onto this wall on right hand side, the whole setup is orientated closer to the left wall

. i have it setup in following order,; frontspeaker, sub, screen(with cv VE5C center on top), frontspeaker. my question is; would i be better havin the sub on the left corner closest to wall where the speaker is?

i have tried it but bass was not as defined, but am worried about mid/highs been affected by speaker been close to wall. the left speaker sits about twelve inchs from side wall. i cannot increase this anymore without bringing it all closer together and affecting the screen (only center is shielded). it sounds great at moment but as you guys know, it can always be better!! Cheers and thanks. ps, yes i do have the matching surrounds!! and its powered by a Onkyo SR 503 reciever and pioneer DV 490V dvd.
