Speaker Matching

<font color='#000000'>Why is it important to have 'matched' speakers? &nbsp;As an audiophyte, I would have guessed that using a mixed set of speakers would result in a richer sound. &nbsp;Using brand X for the center, brand Y for the mains, and brand Z for the surrounds would perhaps makeup for a deficiency from any one manufacturer. &nbsp;
