Speaker match for paradigm center

I have an onkyo 606, I recently picked up a used paradigm cc-150 center channel, I intend to purchase an HSU STF-2 when they come back in stock and I have a set of Jamo e 805s on the outside. I am considering replacing the Jamo's with another set of bookshelves. I have seen a set of Paradigm Titans (v1 I believe) which I may be able to pick up fairly inexpensively. Can anyone recommend a different, fairly low cost solution.

I want to replace the Jamo's because they are 4 ohm speakers and my receiver is only rated for 6+.

Thanks

The only way to define what sounds good to you is to go listen to everything you can. Since you already purchased the CC150 and you need timbre matching, I would audition the Paradigm Studio 20's which can be found on the used market for a good price or found new in the $700-1000 range.

Test the new receiver with the Jamo's. It should be fine with 2 4 ohm speakers at reasonable volumes, but I wouldn't connet 7 of them to that receiver.

If you really like the sound, find a matching Jamo center channel. I think the paradigm center you have is designed to work with their monitor series. Check out the Mini Monitor bookshelf speakers.

The Titans are one of the best options. What do you consider fairly low price?

It looks like I am going to be able to get a set of mini monitors. If so, what do you think about hooking up the jamo's as the surrounds (I currently am only running a 5.1). Would that be ok?

In an update, I just STOLE a pair of paradigm mini monitor v.3's with minor cosmetic damage on one cabinet for $60. Speaker problem solved, I guess.
