I ended up with two of these JBL HTI6's and wanted to use the two of them together as an inwall center channel. All my surrounds are HTI8's and would like to use the HTI6's or at least think they would sound good and also be hidden like the rest other than my mains that are floor standing. My question is what would be the best way to hook them up to an HK 354 receiver. These are 8 ohm speakers should I do them in series and drop ohms to 16 or buy some other type of cross over,or should I not be doing this at all? Thanks in advance for any help.Below is speaker specs

I am pretty sure the former models of the H/K line did not do well with lower impedances, so series I would think might be better. You will have to compensate some for the drop in impedance, but you are also getting a small gain by running two speakers. An impedance matching volume control or speaker switch might work to compensate as well. OR, just use one of them.
