Ive been upgrading my setup from the original Sony surround in a box, since Ive got that and this is what Im working with now. All the speakers are Klipsch,
center: RCX-4
left/right: RSX-4
surround: RS-10
Sub: RPW 10
Reciever: Yamaha HTR S930
DVD: DVR-NS300

Ive been researching alot lately and come to realize Im missing a decent range of sound with the small left/right setup. At the moment Im just looking to upgrade these speakers as I feel the rest are decent enough and upgrading these will give me the best increase in quality for the money. I have found a used set of Polk Audio monitor 40s for about $125 or Klipsch B3s for around $200. What would you recommend? The room is a basement 21.5' by 12.5'. There is a 6' opening along the wall in the back for the stairs and an opens to an adjoining room which about 12'x10'. Im working on a sketch but I need to get more dimensions after work.

How much is your budget for speakers? It would be very helpful so we can recommend speakers in your price range.
