Okay i am looking at golden ear speakers, super Sat's plus the rears will be NDX inwall.

Thoughts on theses?

Also looking at Super sat 50 or 60s but my tv is an 80 inch and even if i upgrade to a 85 or 90 inch the height of tv will be 43-49. If you have a set up where your mounted speaker heights are taller than your tv can you post a pic or send me a pic as i want to see how it looks.

Fair enough point there.

Okay so I am not a huge audiophile. The local small AV store likes them and i heard them and i liked them. For reference i have loved my klipsch quintet in my current basement media room.

So he suggested and i like them and the price. If this room i attached was yours, what would you be thinking. Speakers have to be mounted on the front wall and can be in the back walls or mounted on back walls.

Why consider them at all...you don't explain much.

Everyone has a list of speakers they would recommend.

My list: RBH, KEF, Revel, Focal, Dynaudio, Monitor Audio.

Others will have different lists.

In general, GoldenEars won't make it on some people's list. Why? Some people don't consider GoldenEar speakers as "accurate" because their Frequency Responses are not the most linear/flat.

Some people are upset that GoldenEar has been bought out by AudioQuest, the snake-oil wire company.

The word "Golden Ear" in itself is sort of a joke to poke fun of audiophiles who claim to be able to hear things that most of us cannot hear.

So it looks kind of bad when you combine "golden ears" with "snake-oil". :D
