Hi, and Happy New Year!!

Please I would any and all opinions, I got a Denon AVR2805 Receiver for X-mas, and now need to buy a DVD player and a speaker system.. I am a big Athena fan and was going to(and still may) buy from them..But please make suggestions..I would like to keep the price in the Athena range..and I need the best DVD player to compliment my receiver.. THANKS to all who offer an opinion...

Well, if I were you I would look at the Oppo dvd players until the HD DVD VS Blue-Ray format war settles down. the Oppo is an excellent product that has glowing reviews. By doing so you wont miss out on much. Already recommended speakers to you in your other post. Happy Hunting!!!!
