I have a speaker that, at low volume levels or signals, generate spourious sounds like clapping or popcorn popping that is most evident when I listen close. THis is from the Left speaker. I have reversed the L and R speakers and the noise has transferred to the Right, meaning it's the speaker that has the problem, not the amps, right?

Is this driver or crosover related? What are the known audible sonic problems when you have a defective driver or crossover network? Thanks.

I had suspected that too and so reversed the L and R speakers. But the problem just rransfered from left to right. So i concluded it's speaker related.
