Hello:
I have got a Denon 3805 receiver and need help on deciding on either Paradigm Cinema 110 packages or DefTEch Mythos GEM packages. I heard they both good but not sure if Paradigm would sound big compared to Mythos GEM. My biggest dilema is watts they both offering.
Paradigm is 70 WATTS vs. Mythos are 200 WATTS. But they both looks nice to match with my JVC HDILA 61"TV and both are compact. Would Paradigm's 70 watts for F/C/L and 50 watts for rears would be enough for 23 X 12 room ? I am looking for a small compact speakers with a lot of power and sub to go with. and mainly to be used for HT.

Any opinion/advise would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If I had to pick between the two, I'd go with Def Tech; as it looks like they go lower. With a rear projection TV, I'd rather go with bookshelf speakers.

The reted max imput for the has nothing to do with how loud they play. Their efficiency does. If your reciever does not put out significantly more power than their rated max imput, I would'nt worry about it. I have not heard theese two choices side by side. That is the best way to choose which ones to take home. I own def techs myself but think highly of paradigm too.

The 3805 provides plenty of power for either of these excellent systems. Do you have price and size limit for a sub.

Of course it doesn't. The reted max imput is inversely proportionate to the ohmholtz floor level. :)
