I'm Getting A Yamaha 2500 And Am Trying To Decide On A Lower End Speakers. Im Only 21 And Am Strapped For Cash But Love Wathing Movies In Suround. I Want Somthing Decent That Sounds Good And Loud.

I've Been Looking At Jbl Northridge Series Ec 35 Center E 30 Rears And I Already Have Cerwin Vega Re 30 Front And A 15 Inch Cerwin Vega Power Sub. I Am Also Looking At Lower End Polk, Infinity, And Klipch. I Would Like To Have Them All Match But Like I Said I Am Strapped For Cash. Any Suggestions On speaker Choice And Piecing Together Different Brands

I Only Have Money To Buy A Center And Rears Now Should I Wait To Buy A Whole Set? Thanks For Any Suggestions.

Since your surround system will be for movies (as opposed to hi-rez music), you really don't need to worry about matching the surrounds. I've been using throw-away Kenwoods for surrounds with my Paradigm/SVS system and couldn't tell the diffrence when tested against paradigm surrounds.

Therefor.....

if you like your CV mains, I'd look for the matching center channel, then check the local used market (pawn shops, etc) for any good condition stereo pair to use for surrounds. The front three and your subwoofer are the critical speakers for HT.

JMlab speakers

I just bought a Denon 3805 and I'm looking to buy new speakers. I actually have B&W 330. I was wondering if someone ahd some comments on the JMlab Chorus speakers. I looked at the 716S loudspeaker (1200 cdn$), the 706S bookshelf loudspeaker (550 cdn$), the 700S centra (500 cdn$)l and the SW 700S subwoofer (750 cdn$).
