Hey guys,

just for starters this is an uber site, ive leartn heaps so far and looking forward to learn more.

Just a quick question, my HT speakers are JENSEN SPX-13, JENSEN SPX-4 and JENSEN SPX-9, now they are rated as 6ohm speakers, and im using 4ohm 16AWG THX cables, they are all connected on a DENON AVR-3801.

is there possible and disadvantage to this? regarding the ohms on the cable and speaker?

thanks in advance,
Kw0n

Nope, your cables are fine. Unless you're doing a long run (like more than 50 feet), 16ga is fine. For longer runs it's better to use 14ga or 12ga to avoid resistive losses.
