Hi ,

I had a Onkyo 770 HTIB package and the speakers are in the spring-clip format which means I could connect the speaker with bare wires or use the connectors. I chose to use the connector but I have no idea what types of connector I should use to fit in the hole of this spring-clip format.

1.Pin connector:

or

2.Banana connector:

or

3.Flex Pin connectors:

And I was wondering the length of gold plated contacts in #1,#3 pin connectors are too long so that extra gold contacts will expose ,will that
be ok ?

Could anyone suggest me ? Appreciated and thanks beforehand .

You need option one, the pin connectors. I would advise that you "trim" them to minimize the possibility of a short circuit between the two.

Thanks very much for your replying.
When you mentioned "Trim ", you mean to cut those pins and make them
shorter ,right ? And what tool you would recommend to do so ? thanks.

A hefty wire cutter, diagional cutter or whatever it takes to do the job.
