Speaker Blowout Question

I have a Yamaha HTR 5830 A/V receiver. 550 total watt, 110W per channel. A friend of mine gave me a 5.1 speaker system. 150 total watt, 50W sub, 20W satelites. Will I blow out these speakers if I connect them to my receiver?

Are you going to max out the volume on the Yammy and drive it into clipping all the time? If so, speakers rated at twice the power rating of your current speakers will blow out. If you listen at moderate levels, your speakers should do just fine.
