SPDIF connection

Maybe someone with past experience can help me out here. I have recently connected my old PC (a p3 600mhz) to my HT using RCA connections for both audio and video. I can live with video like that, but missing out the 5.1 audio is a big loss. So I went online and searched the net for info on how to connect my Live 5.1 to the receiver using the SPDIF output. But how do I do that? I can get a mini-jack -&gt; 2xRCA cable, but how I make it into the coax in?

<font color='#000000'>I just noticed the coax in is actually a female RCA plug, so I'd only need a mini-jack &gt; stereo RCA cable to connect both right?</font>
