Sp. off light on STR-DE875

I have a Sony STR-DE875 receiver. The sp. off light comes on once in a while and I cannot get any sound out of the system. Any suggestions as to why this would occur?

You must be touching the speaker on/off button on left below power button. Just press it to turn light off and speakers on.
