Does anyone know of a good showroom in Soflo where I can listen to various brands of good speakers so that I can make a decision on what to buy?

Where is South Florida again? Are you in the Keys, Homestead? Naples? Everglades City? Daytona? It's a pretty big state.

There's stuff here in Tampa. I know there's stuff in Orlando that you can be pointed to. I can only assume there are places most everywhere: but who should recommend which one depends on where you are.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Anywhere from Miami to West Palm Beach. I am in the Delray Beach area.

Here in the greater Miami area the situation(particularly in the Northern half of Miami-Dade County) is downright sad: no dedicated Hifi dealer. The only place selling any sort of audio equipment with an actual showroom is "Best Buy", though a number of high-end audio manufacturers now sell via recording studio equipment dealers(in North Miami's recording studio district, in the neighborhood of what was once Criteria Studios), but these dealerships are sales offices with no showroom and nothing in stock.

I've seen some showrooms in the Miami Design District also, which is just north of 195 by US-1.

In Coral Gables there is a place also.

Like Phil said, in South Florida there are lots of showrooms and companies, but not many places where you can just browse. A lot of places work off of contractors calling them and then they design a whole house (Crestron, speakers, lighting, security, so forth), but the operate out of warehouses. Everything is so decentralized down here it doesn't make much sense to maintain a retail showroom.
