Soundstage down firing sub output issues

Ijust purchased this sub and the volume/sound output from the sub is very weak. I was under the impression I purchased a decent subwoofer but its bass output is very weak. Is there something I'm doing wrong or anything I can do to test the sub?
Thanks

What is it?

If Soundstage is a brand, never heard of it. I see these after a search but none are downfiring but the specs are not encouraging.

What is sending a signal to the sub? Have you tried running another sub on that subwoofer output? Have you tried sensing a signal to the sub from another source?

Was also wondering if this is a small sealed sub in a huge concrete room, with too high expectations.

Not a huge room, and yes I had my other main sub connected before worked great swapped it out to test this new one. And mynissue is the output from the sub seems very weak or minimal. Is it just a sub par sub at best?

Can you give us the brand and model number?

Yes, brand and model will help. Could be a sub par(no pun) or placement or sealed or too high expectations etc. need to know what it is to start.

Not just the sub make/model, but the gear you're running it with. It could have a different amp sensitivity than your other sub. Also assuming you re-calibrated after changing subs.

Seriously, I have no life.
What is the old sub, name number.
If @lovinthehd has it right, the manuals talk about the gain knob adjustment and frequency adjustment.
Try to follow their direction.

The subs are not promising though.
