i tried asking this question on a computer forum, but no one knew..
i'm using TrueRTA with a berhminger ECM8000 mic, rolls phantom power and the creative soundblaster audigy 2 zs for notebooks. i tried it out and it looked okey, but i forgot that the rolls puts out a balanced signal. i can't find any information on whether the soundblaster can use a balanced single, if it affects the measurements, ect.

thanks :)

By balanced do you mean XLR, you may have to get an adapter or something, they sell xlr adapters online all the time, some of them have mic amplifiers in them.

i do have an adapter, xlr to 1/4" to 3.5mm, all mono. but i just wasn't sure what the difference was between balanched and unbalance and if it would affect my measurements if the sound blaster only had unbalanced input..
thx
