I am a zvox fan. I own a few of their products. I have found the SQ to be quite good given the limitations of a soundbar and the customer service excellent (which is pretty hard to find sometimes). I'm curious why you prefer say the ZVOX 430HSD over say the ZVOV 580 which will give you better bass. In any case, the Sony clearly has better electronics which may or may not matter; the focus with all the zvox units is on the speakers, the amps and the enclosure which is where I'd put my money. I'm skeptical of the claim that the Sony does 400 watts as well . . .
