Seriously, I have no life.
I don't have any experience with that one but at that price, I doubt it will last for any length of time or be exactly what it says it is. Plus, you would have no way to balance the levels of the speakers if some need to be quieter than others.

This is the one I mentioned. It happens to be from Niles but other companies sell the same thing with slight differences.

Lots of good suggestions here, but I think you guys are making it too complicated and expensive.
1. Buy this reciever yamaha rx-v663 ~350$
2. Set the audio selector to 7 channel
3. You now have evenly distributed sound from up to 7 speakers.
4. Profit!

For 900sq feet I can't see needing more power/speakers than that.
If needed you could use up to 9 speakers, but I really think that would be overkill for such a small place.

For a sub check out the dayton subs here on AH. Good bang for the buck and the free extended warrenty might be helpful in the retail setting.

That might work but when the staff isn't an audio gearhead like some here, they might not be able to adjust the level in one area as easily as they could with a two channel amp and a speaker selector with volume controls. Also, most consumer audio manufacturers explicitly state that the warranty doesn't apply when their equipment is used in a commercial application.
