Sound Settings from TV and Components Configuration

Hello. I have recently purchased a Sony HT-Z9F with wireless rear speakers addon

My current setup is as follows

Bell 4K PVR Receiver
Xbox One (1080 p)
Samsung UN60H6350AF

As my tv is not 4k, I must connect the bell receiver to my tv using HDMI, otherwise I get an HDCP error when connected directly to the sound bar. I also have my Xbox one connected to tv with HDMI for ease of use.

I am using my ARC to connect the tv and soundbar together.

I have the bell receiver audio output configured for Surroind Sound. My Xbox is set to Surround Sound 5.1 uncompressed.

My question lies around the sound settings on my TV. I have "Speaker Settings" Ouput to Receiver.

Basically - What are the differences of these settings and which one is best for obtaining true surround sound?

Is one better than another for listening to music?
Or...is there anything I can do or purchase to connect directly to the soundbar and resolve the HDCp error while still obtaining true surround sound.

Under additional settings I have
Audio Format
- PCM
- Dolby Digital
-DTS (greyed out)
-DTS Neo 2.5

Audio Delay - self explanatory
Dolby Digital Comp.
-Line
-RF

Thank you!

Can you turn off 4k on the soundbar to avoid the hdcp error?

Both the Bell Receiver (Arris) and Soundbar are set to 1080p. From what I can gather even though this is the case. The Receiver and Soundbar detect HDCP 2.2 and complete the handshake, despite these settings. As the TV cant handshake I am presented with the error. There is nothing that allows me to turn off HDCP 2.2 exclusively

That is very strange because if there is no 4k source there is no HDCP 2.2 handshake. Many 4k source components check compatability and go down to 1080 if no handshake success. Are you sure there is no 4k signal coming in or possibly any upscaling (upscaling shouldnt need 2.2 but...)
You dont have any expanded/deep etc color setting or HDR/dolby vision etc on sources or reciever?

I've dug into the menus and settings on my tv, soundbar system and Bell STB Receiver. Nothing of the sort exists. Ive confirmed as well that everything is set to 1080p

Do you get this error on all sources you connect to the soundbar?
Does the error pop up at once or after it works a little while?

This error only happens with the Bell 4k STB receiver. The message appears right away. I do get Audio.

My Xbox 1 only outputs 1080p and no issues there.

Are you sure the bell pvr is set for no 4k?
If you are, something isnt right with it or with bells handling of HDCP or the soundbar i guess.

So the STB is 1080 only, no 4k from what I read on it. With the STB only and no sound bar do you get the error? With the XBox One and soundbar only do you get the error? Just trying to understand what happens and with what components connected. The STB and Xbox should be run to the TV via HDMI, each on their own HDMI input And the soundbar from the TV via optical?
